I currently have infineon ram, and have heard it's fairly cheap, so I'm interested in getting some top of the line ram (Kingston / Corsair... Im assuming...)
I have a AMD® Athlon™XP Barton 2500+(1.83GHz) w/333Mhz FSB 512K Box Processor
and a Asus A7N8X nForce2 Chipset 5PCI/1AGP8x/3DDR w/Sound Lan USB 2.0 Socket A & ATA-133 Mainboard.
Suggestions?
I'm looking for 2x512 DDR 333mhz or 400mhz ram...
But there's so many choices, i'm not too sure.
Help is needed, thank you :)

I would go with DDR400 RAM over the 333Mhz because you may be able to OC your proc to a 3200+. Even if you can't (or don't want to) then you'll already have the correct memory for the true 400Mhz FSB procs that are out. And in the meantime you could run the 400Mhz ram at 333Mhz.

The choice of manufacturer is more difficult. The major players are Kingston HyperX, CorsairXMS, and Mushkin lvl 2. RAM for the overclocking crowd IMO. This memory has a higher price tag due to having tighter timings. Kingston value RAM, Crucial RAM, and Corsair value select are good choices if you don't plan on Oc'ing and just want quality memory.

Hope that helps.
