Quick question for you guys,

I just picked up 4x 750 GB 7200.11 SATA hard drives (oem) from newegg with the idea of building a 1+0 RAID array. All of the drives have a jumper on the jumper block that according to the instructions "limit to 1.5Gb/s operation". Removing the jumper allows "3 GB/s operation"

Is there any reason why I should not remove the jumpers on all 4 drives to have them all run at 3 Gb/s rate?

Thanks in advance

Nope. They ship them like that for maximum compatibility (thus lowering tech support costs). People who know what they're doing can remove them.

This is of course assuming that you actually support SATA2 operation :p
