Quick Excel Question!

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of or add these lines and numbers in excel, circled in the image below?

Im talking about the stuff I circled in yellow. I know that when you click on it, it expands the columns associated with it.

Did you get this figured out yet?

On the far right of the window on the section of the part that you want to remove, there's as up-arrow. Right below that up arrow (or pretty close) the cursor will switch to a "drag" cursor so that you can drag that section back up and close it. Also, you might try View > Split in the ribbon.

As to all the black boxes and squiggles you have all over your document... that's a little more difficult.
