Question about Razer mamba mouse and profiles

Well i just switched over from the logitech G9x to the Razer mamba. I got rid of the G9x because it was not comfortable.

Well now im trying to create profiles for game and stuff but it wont let me. With the G9x you can re-assign the buttons for different games but with the Mamba, you cant (unless im missing something)

I want to be able to use the side buttons for DPI up/down in games but use the side buttons within windows for forward/back.

Any help is appreciated. thx

Wans't it done through the drivers thing you install and there's the little icon on the desktop tray?
I remember that somewhat from watching video reviews of it

well ive tried and tried I think i need a step by step otherwise im taking it back.

Use the Mamba Configurator. You have to load the drivers from Razerzone.com

Also don't quit so easily. It's the best mouse I've used to date.
