Question about AIW Radeon's

OOOOk.. so I plugged the antenna to the port on the AIW, and I plugged the speaker mini jack (from a dongle cable connected on Vid Out port) to the Sound Card's Line In (Maudio Revolution), and plugged my computer speaker's jack to Sound Out on the Revo..

I start the TV software, and theres no sound (just video stream).. but when I record and play it in WMP, there is sound.

I went through the Intialization Setup as well as checking my Mic/Lin Volume bar.. all's fine.
 
As Zandor said, check the mixer.

Windows mixer has settings for recording and playback for each component. If playback is muted, you will not hear it, but you can record. If recording is muted, you will not record sound, I don't think it will playback either.

I've got a TVbox, I've played with it all...
 
it's not muted

i cannot hear sounds when i'm watching TV (using the software from ATI)

BUT

i can hear sounds when i play a recorded TV station mpg file from my AIW..
 
Check all the audio properties, cd-in, aux, TAD. I had my CD-IN muted, wouldn't hear it until i played back.

wait..

so I have to plug the minijack to the sound card externally AND internally??
 
No, one or the other, mine is internal. I have it plugged to the CD-IN on my audigy.
 
yeah, still nada..

i thought i was screwed for awhile (cause the Revo doesnt have ANY cable input connectors :p )
 
i feel so stupid right now.. i "fixed" it...

TV-On-Demand was on.

ugh, I could've saved $20 by not ordering a replacement cable from ATI.
