I'm running Norton 2K5(I know I could do better), and I have it set to auto-scan every morning at 4 am, and when I got up today it found 3 viruses and an adaware threat. Well it deleted 2 of the viruses and the adaware, but it said it couldnt delete the 3rd, so it quarantined it. Does that mean its still on my computer? Its called hacktool.rootkit and it was in windows\system32, and the filename is SVKP.sys. Should I find the file and delete it or just leave it as quarantined? If I try to repair it in Norton it says it fails trying. Also, I'm on XP pro.

Quarantined means its not part of the active system so it won't hurt your computer but if it cant be fixed, I'd delete it.
