Well, it's black.
Started out as an Antec SX1040. I've decided to rework this old trusty case. I've always wanted to do black, but have been influinced by others. Now, it's my turn.
The window is designed to go around the handle, like the window on my other Antec.

NEW:

The new window is cut to give more view of the CPU/RAM/VGA, or lack thereof.
I went ahead and modded the chassis to accept a chevette heatercore for a later project.

Next on the list will be an Orb VGA cooler to get rid of that long wire hanging across the case.
Now, here's the other side of the case with the first color coat. Still need to wet sand w/ 600 grit, second coat, then clear coat it.
No pics of the bezel, because I'm not done with it. I'd like to shave the raised power switch. Then bondo all the holes, add a Belgian (right name?) switch as the power... ridding the front of a reset switch. Then I'll be modding some custom power/HDD leds into the front of the bezel. Somewhat hard to describe...
Here's a picture borrowed from a fellow forumer:

Now, where you see white will be plexi. I'll cut slits up the bezel, with my trusty Dremel. Then, wedge some plexi in, mark it flush with the bezel, then cut it. I'll go back and hand sand it flush with the bezel. I'll then drill one hole in the bottom of each piece of plexi (~5mm) for power and hdd LEDs. The red will be hdd and blue power. I'll only drill one hole, because I think the fading light will look better than a solid light.
Later on down the road, I'll buy some of these:

With these, I'll mask off the whole foot, save a small strip around the bottom (so only the bottom glows... it's floating! ahhh!), and paint the rest of the feet to match the case.
This case doesn't have blow holes and fans everywhere for one simple reason. I don't like the noise! You noticed the 120mm Papst intake (future radiator fan), and one single Panaflo L1A exhaust. The TMD fan is actually very quiet at 7V... and still cools the 1800+ at 2.1GHz. Hopefully updates will be plentiful... and come soon!
