Problems with Hl2 and CS:S after lastet update.

The system is:
MSI Delta 2 LSR
Athlon 1.83ghz
1gig of Corsair ValueSelect DDR400
80/160 Western Digital Hardrives
Ati 9500 Pro
Windows XP sp2


after this latest patch,i could be playing either games and they crash for no reason.

the error is related to something called datacache.dll.

anyone else have this problem?

I've been having some trouble, but didn't think to relate it to the latest patch. It did update before I was having trouble though. I updated to the latest Nvidia driver and thought that might have caused it. Does your screen just go completely grey? Mine does that more then crashing, I can hear the game in the background but the screen is greyed out.

screen did gray out once.i switched from the ATi Driver to Omega's to see if that could be the problem......it wasn't. same deal so i just uninstalled the omega's and went back to the Ati 5.13 Set
