problem with video card(i think)

Im having a problem with my video card(at least im pretty sure its the video card). Its a radeon 9800 pro and its pretty much brand new. Anyway, when I first installed it, it worked flawlessly. Today however, me and some pals were playing unreal 2k3 and all of a sudden the picture begain the flicker, shake, and the picture quality just got really messed up. I tried rebooting, installing new drivers, and I even checked my monitor but its working fine. Whats wierd is that when im just in windows or internet explorer the picture quality is fine, but now when I start any game it does this annoying flicker/shivering thing. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

is the fan running? When in doubt format, or even better, watercool and format , sounds like a heat issue to me.

check your videocard's fan - is it still spinning? making noise? why don't you RMA the card just to be safe? - sounds like it's a lemon.
