Oct 17, 2006 #1 R rusty Limp Gawd Joined Nov 9, 2002 Messages 380 just got rid of my old agp rig and built a pci-e machine. does it matter if you use the pci-e to 2xmolex connector for power or can i just plug in the pci-e power connector from the psu. i assume it doesnt matter, am i right???

After all, thats specifically what it is designed for. That way you can save those molex connections for other things, like addition fans. I'm a firm believer in never having too many case fans, my case sounds like a harrier taking off
