1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
High-medium gaming, web browsing, and for study.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Not more than €1,050= $1,316.02

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
The Netherlands

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
See list

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Yes, a LG Flatron W2243S-PF monitor and a brother DCP-130c.

6) Will you be overclocking?
No

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920x1080

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Late august or September.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
I don’t need Crossfire, SLI and Firewire. I do like USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s and eSATA. Onboard gpu and UEFI would be nice but is not necessary.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I'd think about squeezing an SSD in your budget as well. It's a feature that you would definately notice a difference having. To subsidize the cost of the SSD you could step down the CPU a bit- for gaming it won't make any difference and say, an i3 2120 + SSD will be/feel the same or faster than an i5 w/o SSD in pretty much every one of your uses, especially at 1080p gaming resolution.

Not super sure about that PSU either. the wattage is fine and it does have a 5 year warranty, but something tells me you can get better hardware for the price.

Give us the prices for the following components:

- Intel Core i5-3450 or i5-3470
- Antec NEO ECO 520C or 620C
- MSI Z77A-G43
- G.Skill Ripjaws or RipjawsX 2x4GB DDR3 1333 dual-channel kit

Please answer question 9 of our set of sticky questions:

I do not like the stock HSF on intel processors, If you can find a Coolermaster 212+ or 212 evo on sale, pick it up.

I'd also recommend getting a SSD. They are pretty sweet, but it can wait. Everything else looks good.

Have fun with the build!

I would find another company beside Sapphire to get the GPU from.

See how much the Hitachi 7k1000.d 1TB drive costs. It's faster than that Black drive anyway. So if it's the same price or cheaper, I'd go with it instead. Also the Samsung F3 1TB is as fast as the Black drive, so if it's cheaper I'd go with it as well.

Not a good PSU at all.

Also where did you copy those questions from?

Skillz, good catch on the PSU. I'd recommend dropping it in favor of Antec/Corsair.

I've used WD black, and like it well enough. Sapphire is decent, but MSI is better.

You're really good at this!

Im taking the sapphire as its by far the cheapest in my country. Actually a lot of reviews are very positive about this psu

You're right, I was thinking that it said OCZ. That PSU is based off a Seasonic platform I think, which is a good PSU.

Sapphire is cheap for a reason. What's the price of XFX, MSI, Gigabyte or ASUS? It's worth paying a little more for those brands.

I think everyone is right about the ssd, but Im not sure if i agree with downgrading to an I3, maybe by the time your ready for the build you can get a good deal on a 256 gig and still be within budget.

I see a MSI Hawk edition 7870 in that link for €236...

Definitely a better choice. The MSI coolers are some of the best in the market, and IMO a no brainer if you're going with AMD cards. I must admit I'm partial to nVidia, even though AMD is pretty competitive and has cool multi-display functions built in.

EDIT: maybe I'm getting the GIGABYTE GA-H77-D3H instead of the GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H mobo as I won't be oc nor would I need SLI. I might also get the i5 3450 or 3470 instead of the i5 3570 as the performance change is very little.

Doesn't sound bad to me. sometime down the road though pick up a solid state, they are finally dropping to realistic prices.. some brands anyway.

Not a bad switch.
