Plextor 712A Black Version Owners

Hmmm..... I just picked up my Plextor 712A Black from work today for cost price $255CAD before Ontario Taxes (15%), and opened it at home, and noticed that there is NO PLEXTOR LOGO or the 712A LOGO in the white paint or whatever it is that is suppose to be Spray painted on or something on the head of the Tray. But there are the DVDRW, DVDROM and COMPACT DISC logos sprayed on.

I was just wondering if anyone else who have the same drive who gotten theirs exactly like mine. Oh BTW mine is the TLA 0101 which means it's the updated version with the .01 firmware.

Ohwell I kinda don't like the Plextor Logo anyways, but it kinda doesn't give it the bragging rights without the Plextor logo lol, ohwell I think it's better looking this way, cause it's almost stealth like and very sleek looking here's a few pics of them off my crappy Messenger Cam.

my brother has the 8x version, which is black and it looks the same as yours

it looks better than one having the logos

i have a 712A in route, and it will look the same

I have the 708A and it looks exactly like that.

hmmm... that's funny I was lead to believe that they had the logos on the face/head of the drive.

Ohwell can't complain, it looks better this way anyways.
