This is basically my new setup, gotta pick up all the parts on Saturday. The 7800 GT is a temporary thing, gonna wait for the G80. I would have gotten the 1900XTX if it wasn't for that. I got killer prices on most of the parts which was pretty sweet.

Can't wait to build up this baby

Motherboard - DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert

Processor - Dual Core Opteron 170

Graphics Card – NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT

Sound Card - Creative Audigy 2 ZS

Memory - Corsair TWINX2048-4000PT

Let me know what you guys think. Cheers!

Hard Drive - 120 GB Western Digital 16mb SATA

Power Supply – SilverStone ZEUS 650W

Computer Case - Gigabyte 3D Aurora

Looks good to me. Gonna be a sweet system.
Nice to see you gave the PSU the same consideration as the other components.

Can't say how many times I've seen posters with a list of top end parts & then buy
a piece of crap PSU. As if the unit which powers the entire system doesn't matter.

It would be nice if you could put prices next to what your your buying so maybe we can see whats in your range.

I'm already over budget by a couple of hundred dollars, i only have about another 200 dollars to spend :(

Hey,

I just bought the same mobo to replace my MSI K8N Neo2. I'm taking my time gathering the rest of the components, basically waiting to see how the new GeForce 7900's spec out and perform.

The DFI LANPartyUT NF4 DR Expert is a great mobo, but be advised, it's very picky about the [H]ardware to use with it. In particular, the RAM & PSU! Do yourself a huge favor
and do your homework before the build. Read the manual thoroughly. And here's a few other online resources you should absolutley check out:

There's tons of info there (especially DFI Street) that you'll need to know before initial power-up if you want a stable system and a good experience. Good Luck.
