Just chatted with a Best buy person don't think he understood what I wanted. I want to be able to use the main screen on TV with my hdmi laptop and watch TV in a pic in pic window using Cable co DVR hdmi at the same time. Is this possible and looking for a 47-48 inch tv. Info anyone?

Last I knew, TV monitors quit having picture-in-picture capability a few years back. At least the models you can buy in B&M retailers like Worst Buy.

Demand for the feature has pretty much disappeared what with tablets and the like.

probably best to check the manuals of the TV's you are interested in.

Absolutely. Any TV with PIP should be able to do this.

Also, look at the new samsung smart TV's. They have a 'split screen' mode where you can have one source open on one half of the TV and another source open on the other half. I use this quite a bit actually. It's nice because it wont obscure any of the image.

I'll normally have something on TV on while jamming on a game or whatever

will look into the Samsung sounds like the split screen might work.....
