Physx question...ideal or not?

Just got my GTX 680 installed last night and was wondering if it would make sense to use my GTS 250 as a Physx card to take some weight (although not much) off of my 680. I also have a GTX 570 but I believe that would be a bit wasteful for only Physx...opinions?

I used a 450 which is close to a 250 card with a 680 GTX.Give it a try.
Also did 680 SLI and 680 SLI with 560Ti physx.All physx cards helped in physx games.

Perhaps I should have looked here prior to posting because it turns out I don't even play any of the games listed...sigh

It says on that page the list is partial.
Also, i think i heard it mentioned in an E3 video that planetside 2 will use physx

No reason not to mess with it for a little while, but I don't think it's worth it if you have a better use for the card.

more hassle than its worth. Batman AC is about the only game where there would be a noticeable performance advantage and thats only if you are running maxed DX11 settings, MSAA and high physx. and tbh even if you could get 100 fps in that game its still going to hitch at times with DX11 especially with physx. other games like Mafia 2 will stay above 60 fps the whole time just letting your gtx680 run physx.
