Lots of Amazon stores are from China. The ones with the weird names. Avoid them like the plague.

You would think it's obvious, but the CCP has already conquered good chunks of the usa with their cheap goods. When they invade in 2050, half of the people will be fighting to let them in... I will be so glad to be dead by then.

At first, I felt that people were wrong in writing "CCP" instead of China, but they are one and the same. The CCP tolerates no dissent or disagreement. Look at how they "retaliated" against tiny Lithuania, and how they persecute overseas Chinese, including secret police stations in other countries. And then we could mention what they are doing to the Uighers, effectively cultural genocide. And how they "conquered" Hong Kong. The list is endless.

EDIT: Forgot that in 2025 or 2026, China will conquer Taiwan, and there will be bloody repressions, mass executions, and who knows what else. And after that, what neighboring country will suddenly find that historically it was ruled by China. Viet Nam? Cambodia? Or will the CCP decide it can't tolerate the presence of a democratic and free Japan. Payback for the 1930s Japanese "East Asia Co-prosperity sphere?"

Sust as Russia can't tolerate a democratic and free Ukraine, the CCP can't tolerate Japan.

Wouldn't worry about TW if China tries to take over, the smart move would be to destroy the chip factories, like MAD nuke policy if TW can't have them then the enemy cannot either.

It's a dark path that stands before china and ccp. If you look at what Hitler did, they've taken pages out of his playbook and like Hitler, the people of the country are behind them in blind faith.

Taiwan is going to be a 'test' for what the US will do to 'protect freedom' as it has with the 'speak softly and carry a big stick' ideology from decades past. China is going to try to be 'cunning' and 'smart' to avert a nuclear response, but short of a nuclear response they won't stop, and with a nuclear response, we all lose. So already on paper, the ccp has already won. And then mf's keep buying cheap sh... from them like it's candy from a stranger!

The only difference is that Hitler launched a war that cost millions and millions of lives, destroyed his country, and the Holocaust happened. Does Chairman Xi have some sort of death wish, where China in this century repeats Hitler from the last century?

Not so sure. China today has lots of internal problems.

True, but those history lessons seem to be lost on today's leaders--just look at the whole Russia/Ukraine thing, and china is enjoying the alliance.

pre-WWII Germany had a lot of problems too, but just look at the mobilization and horror that occurred in the span of 20 years. CCP has been wanting this angle since the 1980s and here we are 40yrs later with a manefesto for 2050. It's like a ticking time bomb imo.

The first invasion of Ukraine in 2014 made Putin genuinely popular for the first time. War has risks but also rewards.

So did Hitler's invasion of the 'sudetenland', but in the end we know how that ended up too. The only thing man needs to learn is that history repeats itself--the mistakes being made are nothing new, just the form is new.
