phantom window on my screen

I've got a phantom blank window on my screen. No idea where it came from, but a reboot doesn't kill it.

Any suggestions?

Is it there when your system is booting up/in the BIOS? Or only in windows?

Try safe mode. Chances are its a hung app. For example, occasionally my screenshot app (Greenshot) will do this, I discovered it by killing it in task manager and it went away.

Nothing shows during bootup. The window only shows up on my third monitor (laptop plus docking station plus 3 monitors).

Does that monitor have PIP? Maybe that got turned on by accident.
