I'm attempting to hook my powerbook up to my pannny plasma, I have a DVI output on my powerbook tunning through a DVI to HDMI connetction cable. Unforutnatly the resolutions that my powerbook provides my monitor are either horribly unviewable, or just fit streached and wierd. I know the tv does it's own scaling fairly well. I had a similar problem trying to acheive 1080 on my dlp.
The 4 proper resolution specs for the monitor are as follows:
- 525 (480) /60i 15.73(kHz) 59.94(Hz)
- 525 (480) /60p 31.74(kHz) 59.94(Hz)
- 750 (720) /60p 45.00(kHz) 59.94(Hz)
- 1125 (1080) /60i 33.75(kHz) 59.94(Hz)
These are all supported over HDMI and Component
Is there any way i can get my powerbook to display these? Any help would be wonderful. Thank you.
