Fry's has a 3.2GHz p4e and crap-ass mobo for $200. That's $50 cheaper than the cpu alone, so I'm saving money no matter what. Also, people have said they were able to use the discount towards better mobo and not the craptastic model included in the deal.
Should I go for it and unlock more of my 6800GT's potential, or buy a couple of those 200GB seagate drives?
I'm just disappointed in the performance of my GT. I see benchmarks for doom 3 and stuff where they recommend 6800GT and Athlon 3200+ (32bit) owners run the game at 1600x1200 or something like that...my 2.4GHz cpu can't even do well at 1280x1024.
