So IJust got my parent's old computer so i can play a few of my older games that aren't working on my gaming rig. (aoe3, quake II, etc).
Anyway, it's a Gateway 815GM.
I can't tell what kind of motherboard it has, although it does say intel socket 775 on it. It also uses DDR1 RAM.
The processor is a P4 SL7YV.
I have a C2d e6550 laying around, and was wondering if it would work in the old mobo? My guess is no, due to it being dual core, and the motherboard being so old. But I figured, why not ask, for shits and giggles.
