I have a very serviceable dell 3007 which I wish to use with a Dell box that uses half heights. The 200 series ATI card cannot do 1600p on its DVI-D port. I am looking for a reasonably priced recent card that would do the job.

Thanks in Advance

thank you

I could spend a little more for something more recent. The chief use for the system is to view CT scans, so it does not need to be a powerhouse, just display 2560x1600 via DVI-D

The low profile 1050/1050 ti cards just draw 75w through the PCIe lanes and would likely be compatible. They are all dual slot though, is there room for a dual slot half height card? I'm guessing the 1030's are the same size, but would be cheaper.

I read complaints that the 1030 would not do DVI-D At 2560x1600
