Ok, I'm a noob... two simple questions.

First - Should I trust the voltage setting in my bios, or should I be watching a program like CPU-Z or Asus Probe to tell me what my voltage is? Bios is set to 1.7v, but the other programs report 1.728-1.744v.

Second - Is there any problem with running Prime95 while running other applications? I would assume not since it's just more load, but you can never be too sure.


Current setup:
Asus A7N8X-X
Barton 2500+ (locked) @ 200x11
512MB Geil PC3200, CH-5 @ 2.5-3-3-8 @ 200MHz
Sapphire 128MB 9200SE

100% load for the past 45 minutes and CPU temp. is sitting solidly at 42°C/107°F.

I would trust your bios.
Will not hurt anything to run Prime and other aps.
