Odd Problem

it seems i can't remove programs now in windows XP.anyone got a way to fix this?

yes i have admin rights and it happens with all the programs.

What happens when you try to uninstall?

their is no uninstall option at all,seems the install/uninstall history i had boned itself.once i reinstall two programs on that list,the option to remove them shows up.

Ahh, ok, now i understand. I was wondering why you put that screenshot up there. I didn't notice the lack of Change/Remove buttons. lol That said, i agree that it's an odd problem, but i've never heard of it before, not really sure what to do about it.

well,i may have to reinstall the programs.

It looks like the registry is borked. If ur sure you don;t have virus/malware you can try a restore...

try this put your windows cd in drive go to start-run type in sfc /scannow then ok it will fix all files back to new hope it works good luck

Are you sure you have admin rights?

If so, it looks like the add/remove applet doesn't think so. I'd try creating a dummy admin account and test to see if it can remove them.
