OK, so they work great, but how do you guys keep em taunt enough on the fan face to not get sucked into the blades? If I jsut slip like a little tube of nylons over the fan, it's not tight enough, and gets sucked too close and whines/rips
I've never heard/thought of this. Sounds like a good idea.
Pull the nylon taught over one end (you only want it on one side right?) and tightly apply some tape, or a rubber band (in addition to super glue/some sort of cement to make a more permanent fix). Would something like this work well enough?
