As far as I know, there is only the ASUS VG23AH that is IPS and can do 72Hz with toasty's timings : http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1036906464&postcount=38

Any other IPS monitor can do that? Any 24-27 inchers? I'm not asking about VA's as they are typically slower, but if you know of some do share.

So yeah I want to have my cake and eat it too, faster than 60 times per second

right, so as previous poster said, no way to know unless you test it.

anyone knows 60+Hz capable IPS panels except for the VG23AH ?

what i want to know is whats limiting companies from offering a default 120mhz 1440p IPS? is it profit margins or just a limiting tech obstacle they havent been able to overcome yet? Something makes me think they are doing the same thing as 1080p LCD TV's, wait until everyone buys one and then release the new line of must have 120mhz. The Catleap can OC close to 120mhz, why cant they come this way factory without the need for hacked software and all of the potential headaches that come with it.
