No workgroup access?

I have Windows XP Pro and I cannot connect to a workgroup and share files. I have NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled, and the Computer Browser Service is running. I can get on the internet (through the router) but I can't access any other computer on the network. Other computers on the network see my computer but cannot connect to it. I have tried both simple, and complex file sharing to no avail. Any suggestions? I have googled my ass off :mad:
 
is the ICF service running... i beleive it on by default. get rid of that crap =P
