Anyone know the difference between the "old" SSDSA2MH080G2R5

and the "new" SSDSA2MH080G2K5 ?

I was just about to pull the trigger on the 80G2R5 when it went out of stock... the 80G2K5 is $15 more but the specs look exactly the same.

I have read that the drives are identical (thus the unchanged specs) while only the bundled accessories are different.

Currently the K series is $10 more, but comes with a $30 rebate.

So I would agree with imyourzero - its unrelated to the drive.

R = Standard retail w/ 3.5" adapter, screws, and sticker.

K = 'Kit' and comes with all of the above plus SATA to 4-pin molex adapter and SATA cable

0 = OEM, bare drive only in brown box
