This is good news for my poor eyesight, the larger pixels will help over 27

Just the price sucks.

But no IPS glow!

update: oh I see now, this panel is not new at all, never heard of it before but threads here:

apparently the benq is the one to get but have to watch out for vertical banding and horrible G2G times

Wtf kind of product name is that? Regardless, I wouldn't be able to use these at closer than 4 feet I don't think, which is deeper than my desk., maybe at 1440 I could.

So far it seems that from monitors with this panel (acer/benq/samsung) in most cases people prefer benq one. You can check thread for benq bl3200pt on this forum.

lol acer does that with all their displays for some reason, maybe it is to purposely cause a google whack

my last acer monitor was "hubmidhz" wtf lol

27 inch vs 32 inch at same resolution shouldn't be too bad, just turn off large font mode

30 inch would probably be ideal but my eyes aren't getting better with time

vertically it is only 2.5 inches taller, horizontal 4 inches wider

If your concerned about price maybe you should look into the QNIX QX320QHD. It uses the same exact panel as the benq, just not as good osd and stand. I have one and love it, but I got mine for $310 used. Found an icc color profile and after calibration it's pretty good, also have mine overclocked to 87hz without dropping frMes. That newer version I've link may overclock high since it has less inputs. Here's a newer version with only hdmi and dvi inputs

Coming from two 27" 2560x1440 panels, I was not impressed with this screen. I really missed the pixel density.....but then I sit fairly close to my monitors!

It indeed is not much of an upgrade from 27" 1440p (and imho wasn't supposed to be). But it's nice upgrade fitting most of users which are upgrading their 24" or smaller, at least compared to other options like ultra wide 29-34", 30" 1600p, small size UHD screens.
