has anyone got these with an i7 yet? if im getting a 3:12 TPF then an i7 should be in the 30-40 second mark.. now if only i could make it so this is the only WU i get.. i could do 4 WU's a day on these things..

will update benchmark stats when this thing completes in 5 hours to find my total average..

edit...

decided to look up and see what the WU was actually for..

Project 2633
These projects study how viruses infect cells. We are studying the viral proteins responsible for infection and how they interact with cell membranes.

Interesting, I haven't seen them yet. Odd that Stanford would name it using the same first two digits as a -bigadv WU. Seems like great running WU though.

yep when i saw the 2633.. i was like wtf im running a bigadv WU.. this cant be right.. then i saw the TPF and my eyes almost popped out of my head.. thought again.. this couldnt be right.. so i went into the benchmark and looked at it and noticed the preferred days..

finally found a post on the FF.. these went active Aug. 20th..

That's unfortunate, just when I thought we were going to have a break from all the long-running units... :(

I pulled and completed one this morning on a C2D. About average PpD for the CPU.

Haven't gotten any on the C2D or 860 yet, finished 3 on the x3350 with no problems so far. I too looked it up after I first saw it wondering what was going on heh.

yeah from what i can gather is they are very memory sensitive WU's and that they dont like AMD processors.. so far all the ones ive seen posted here and on the FF that have been completed are on intel processors.. mine and another guy(both of us running phenom II's) have had the same error come up just at different times..

I've put a bug in Dr. Kasson's ear about this.

My Athlon II X4 completed one today no probs. Maybe it doesn't like the extra cache on the Phenom II.
