New Nvidia Drivers avalible

Hey, thought I would let every one know new Nvidia drivers are avalible for GNU/Linux, which include support for the new 6800 series, and add a nice setting control pannel for configuration. Both x86 and x86-64 have been released.

Really? I took a gander and I see:

Version: 1.0-4365
File Size: 4.4 MB
Release Date: July 1, 2003

Whereas all the Linux stuff release date is July 1, 2004.

Yeah. I was pretty excited and went out to the nVidia site only to be bummed out.

My Gigabyte FX5200 sucks under FreeBSD 5.2.1 with the nVidia drivers. I have better results with a PNY GF4MX400!
