New build problem...

so i just finished putting together and installing everything for my new build, seems to be running pretty good

but now randomly the computer will lock up and freeze... the image will remain on the monitor and a steady beep or shriek will come from the speakers... any ideas ?

intel q6600
nvidia 9800gtx
4gigs gskill ddr2 800
wd 640
gigabyte ga ep43 ds3l
corsair 650 powersupply

forgot to mention ... xigmatek 1284ee heatsink ... with temps in the 30's

Make sure your ram timings and volts are ok.

the timings look ok ... but what should the voltages be ??

also someone mentioned it might be a problem with video drivers?

im going to try re-seating the ram and video card ... and then try the sticks individually ... any other ideas ?

i tryed the new beta drivers from nvidia

try using stable drivers and see if it makes a difference?

check all PSU connections etc. and yeah, your RAM idea is a good one to check for bad memory

Check the RAM specs for the correct voltage then look in you bios to see what it is set at and change if needed.
