netscreen to cisco pix vpn problems

Has anyone successfully got a netscreen 5 gt and a cisco pix 525 to establish a vpn connection?

I can get phase 1 to connect, but not phase 2. I'm looking for some documentation. The only thing I found was for some really old version on the netscreen firmware.

I've about pulled out my hair on this and have lost all patience.
 
You'll need a PDF reader to view it. The HTML version required a CCO account and was a long url...the forum kept putting a line break in the URL and breaking the link.
