Are these still worth anything these days? looking at buying one for the drives in it. trying to put a potential resale value on the NAS itself.

IMO Netgear was eclipsed years ago by QNap and Synology who are in the NAS business, its pretty much all they do. Netgear, as we know is diversified in networking and makes many products, none too well IMO. My first NAS was an Infrant Readynas and they were bought by Netgear who took over the Readynas lineup. They were slow and not feature rich compared to products put out by Synology and QNap, so I would say their resale value is not very good because there are better products out there from bigger companies.

was hoping maybe 200ish? could put a q6600 in it. seems like it could still be a decently capable box....no?
