I'm pricing out parts and I know I'm going with a LGA 1366 i7 920 CPU.

I'm looking for opinions for a motherboard that will run completely stock, no OC of any kind, and has to be stable.......rock stable.....under those conditions. I've always been partial to ASUS and Gigabyte, not familiar with ASROCK or foxconn or any other brands.

Since I'm not doing anything crazy, stability is the only operative word here. I'm open to idea of other companies if you have had experience directly with them with this CPU.

Can anyone recommend an ATX board that will meet this requirement.

It is being used for a DJ computer system that is the core of the entire system running Serato ITCH, so I can't be anything flaky, it has to be rock stable.

:)

Thanks
Chris

I'm really impressed with the feature set and price of the GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R

USb 3.0 and Sata 6.0gb is really nice, plus a whole ton of various pci slots and sata ports. I have 2 of them currently at work for specialized machines, but I have only gotten to the make sure they boot stage yet, no extensive testing. Building systems is a secondary job at my job currently. I do have a Gigabyte ud4p and that has had no issues whatsoever over the last year and a half. Kinda funny that the ud3r now beats out my ud4p in almost every spec, except the heatsink setup.
