Hello, friends.

I'm looking for Socket 462 cooler, which I could easily find nowadays, and has mounting bracket, perhaps even backplate.

My board has mounting holes, please see the image attached.

I have a complete in box Thermalright XP-120 and the box is marked with both P4 and K8 support.

Not sure if that also means K7/462 support, it's been too long ago for me to remember.
I'll have to look at the manual for it when I get off work.

I also have a complete in box XP-90, not sure of the 462 compatibility on that one either.
Will check later.

.

Thermalright XP 120 \ 90 look nice, but they will not fit, since some of the space around socket is occupied by capacitors.

A guy from Noctua support was kind enough to come up with a model-name of some older coolers solutions - "Alpha pal8045", which might be the right thing for me, but I failed to find one . :banghead:

It's even mentioned at Hardocp - https://m.hardocp.com/article/2001/08/01/alpha_pal8045_heatsink

Aha! EDIT: Make sure you call them before ordering, site looks possibly abandoned.
