Need a Motherboard Recommendation

So I got a free i7 7700. I have the rest of the parts laying around, but I need a motherboard. Four ram slots and M.2 would be nice to have. I haven't built a machine in a long time so not sure what to get anymore.

If 4 RAM slots and an M2 are your only considerations, most H270s, Z270s would be good for you -- even those on the cheaper end of the scale.

Try the usual suspects: MSI, Asus, Gigabyte.

No real overclocking on the 7700 (nonK) so I doubt you'd need anything with over the top power delivery features and stuff.

I'm not much of an OC'er these days. I don't see the point anymore. I'm not water cooling or anything like that. I am just upgrading from an i7 2600. She's had a good run and time to be put out to pasture.

Basically the whole B250/H270/Z270 range will be good for you.

I'm not too familiar on Gigabyte/MSI boards at the moment, maybe some other guys can help out.

I think the cheaper Asus will work. I don't need a ton of options and I have never been one to buy the high end stuff. I did that in my younger days and found that I didn't use half of the options.
