my pc as gone crazy

it was working fine this morning,now if i click on anything i want to open,something else opens instead,if i type any thing in firefox browser all the letters are jumbled up.if i go to programes there all flickering.im typing this on my sons pc,i ran a virus scan in safe mode nothing was found with trojan hunter.or addaware.any ideas.

try replacing your input devices, keyboard and mouse. If that doesn't help try using a linux live cd, boot up with that cd and see if u have similar problems.
btw what antivirus did u use?

i used avast av,ill try unplging my usb stuff

well regarding your anti-spyware software i'd recommend to u to use Superantispyware, Ad-Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and Spyware Blaster, just to be on the safe side
