For several days now I have been trying to access the Sony Playstation Store from my PC's web browser in order to download Metal Gear Solid to my Sony Playstation Vita, which you are unable to do from the Vita it's self. The internet URL address i've been trying to use it straight from google and is: https://store.playstation.com/ . Since Sunday night, every single time I try to load that one website, and only that particular website, the page immediately fails to load and i'm given the Chrome error message:

"Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand."

I am a total idiot as far as networking and internet troubleshooting quite frankly because I don't understand how it works at all. Can someone give me some advice on what to try in order to load this webpage? I poked around on google and I seem to be the only one having this issue for some reason.

HTTP code 400 means that your browser is sending malformed information to the web server and it doesn't understand the transaction. Kind of like going to McDonald's and you think you're ordering a fry with your meal, but you are actually asking for something nonsensical because you forgot how to speak English in the middle of your order. Then you go home hungry. Not a good day.

A lot of times it can be resolved by purging the cookies and cache from your browser. Chrome in particular is quite aggressive with its caching. Opening an Incognito session (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464) will isolate your session without using cookies, nor will it save new ones. Try it in an Incognito session.

Several things that you can try if you haven't already:
  1. Incognito Session as explained above
  2. Another browser
  3. Verify Windows updates
  4. Verify Chrome updates - https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95414
  5. Clear your DNS cache - https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

If still having problem, try a different browser. If on a windows box, try IE. Sometimes certain websites just play poorly with some browsers. Shouldn't happen but someone always has to use that oddball feature or make a change to the latest version that breaks stuff.
