MX700 Mouse and middle button

Anyone know how to use the middle button on the mx700 mouse in Call of Duty?

Its the scroll wheel that you can push down. I want to use it as a button. When I try to map a key to it in CoD nothing happens.

I have another thread asking how to actually get it to work but I think that Logigamer will do that.
Unfortunately I cannot get it to work with my mx1000 as of yet.

In the Logitech app in Windows, try setting middle mouse to a keystroke like Delete. Then in the game, set Delete to whatever you want middle mouse to do (i.e., reload weapon, crouch, whatever).
