I picked up an MSI NF750-G55 to upgrade my current AM2+ mothboard.
Put the Phenom X4 in place but it didnt seem to seat well.
Removed and found 2 bent pins. Fixed pins and still didn't want to seat right and yes it was put in correctly. I put the cpu in a Jetway AM2+ board to see if it would work, presto it worked and smoothly went into place. Ok now the pins are ok so I put them into the MSI board and they bent again, and broke one pin. God damn it MSI.
I tried an X2 CPU and I thought I would not apply any pressure (not even breathe on it) and see if it would go on without pushing. Started bending pins again. Here I thought about a Thuban X6 but fuck it if its gonna bend pins.

Im going to take it to the shop and see if someone with more patience and better eyes can look at it. I dont have anymore CPUs to spare. I bought the board hoping to run SLI with it.
Now I have to buy at least a new CPU and possibly a new board. If I do it will be Intel out of spite and I wont look back.
Damn, damn, damn.

let me go more into it.....soudns like something is stuck in the pins slot
