MSI K7N2 Mobo Multiplier strangeness

I just got an unlocked AXP 2500+ and some HyperX pc3500 ram with BH-5 chips as an upgrade. I put them in my MSI K7N2 motherboard with a Vantec Aeroflow and started oc'ing. After a few lock ups and cleared CMOS, I noticed that the multiplier setting doesn't register correct anymore. I'll change it to 12 and save but it still clocks as 11. Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix it? Thanks for you input!
 
its prolly a feature of your mobo trying to keep any of your system components from damaging
