MSI GT-628 any good?

There's a new gaming laptop coming out in the middle of August that my friend pointed out to me. MSI GT-628 - http://www.xoticpc.com/gt628-gaming-laptop-order-p-2631.html - that runs for about $1299. I don't know jack about laptops but the specs look good to me at least. Is this a good deal or am I overlooking something? I remember gaming laptops used to be insanely expensive.
