Move Raid 0 P45 to X58

I have a ASUS P5Q-E P45 with 2 drive in Raid 0 on the ICHR10 controller.

I have a new system which is a ASUS P6T X58.

Anyone know if I can just enable RAID on the X58 then plug the drives in and it will detect the Raid 0 array? I've heard that has worked for some people. Would definitely be easier than transferring all the data off then back on.

Do i actually create the Array with the same settings on the X58 or just enable RAID and let it pick it up itself.
