mousepad for razer mamba?

I just got a razer mamba which I love so far, but unfortunately it is incompatible with my black icemat v2. The icemat causes the mambas liftoff to be VERY small and it briefly freezes the coursor when replanting the mouse after lifting it off of the mousepad. Both of those issues disappear when I simply place a piece of paper on the icemat... but this isn't my ideal solution!

Ive had my icemat for years because its made of glass and never wore out. It has the excact same airhockey like feel to it today that it did the day I got it.

Are there any mousepads anyone could recommend that would be as durable and smooth as my icemat but compatible with the razer mamba?
 
I myself use a steel series mouse pad. The ratpadz also works quite well.
 
I have been using the original Ratpad since it came out. The pad doesnt wear out, the mice do!
