For a section of the bottom of the panel (from about 20%-50% of the way from the left edge going right), 1-2 rows of pixels are covered by the bezel. It would've been hard to spot, except that with the Win 7 taskbar, you get that little "box" effect around programs that are open. The bottom part of that white "box" isn't visible for icons located on that section of the panel: exampleWhat exactly is going on with the monitor? Can you post some pics of the issue?
To verify, I created a 2560x1440 image with a 2px-wide red stripe around the edges. Here's what happens at the bottom left of the monitor.
I assume this may be because the bottom bezel is slightly warped: like so
If I pull down hard on the bezel and force it to give a little, I can see the missing pixels.
I'm sure there's a way to fix this with some effort, but why risk damaging this unit if they're willing to take it back for free? (Now watch the replacement have a bunch of bad pixels, heh).
