Monitor doesn't go into powersave with 5870

Does this happen to anyone else? When the computer is supposed to turn off the display, the screen goes blank, but the backlight doesn't turn off. I'm pretty sure it's not an issue with the monitor, since it went into power save mode just fine w/ my previous graphics card (a 9800GTX). I've got an NEC 20WMGX2 if that makes a difference
 
update to the 10.2 or 10.3 beta drivers.. the problem was only in the 10.1 drivers which was fixed in the newest drivers..
 
I had the same problem with 10.1. I rolled back to the 9.xx driver until they released the 10.2 which fixed the problem for me.
 
I am at 10.2, I still seem to have the issue. I'll try completely removing and reinstalling the drivers

edit: there it goes, works now. I guess I had remnants of 10.1 left or something. I just didn't see mention of the bug in the 10.2 release notes, so I didn't really know if it was a driver issue
