My PSU is supposed to work..in the manual it mentions if you have the 2x4 PSU connector remove the cover. There is no cover.

There is a 2x12 and 2x8 on the motherboard.

Thanks...

What is your problem exactly? Did you connect the PSU and it didn't work, or are you just wondering about the cover? The PSU should have a 24-pin ATX connector and a 4-pin P4 power connector. The 24-pin goes into the corresponding socket on the motherboard, and the 4-pin will fit in one half of the 8-pin socket on your motherboard. Once those are connected, everything should work providing all of your components are in working order.

it's working...wasn't sure left or right on the 8pin...the manual warns about using both so I wasn't sure if I'd have a blowup.

Well, the pins are keyed so they only go in one way. If it fit and you didn't have to force anything, that means you got it right :).

I looked again at the manual and see that now...the 'left' side is denoted 2x4 only in it.

I am at 3.6Ghz for the last 10 hours stable with my Phenom II x3 720 (2.8GHz stock).
