Right now, i have 1 stick of 512mb kingston hyperx pc3000 in my pc and i want to add another stick in, only the problem is pc3000 is kinda hard to find, and rather expensive. So i was wondering if i could put in a stick of, oh lets say pc3200 (still kingston hyperx) and would it still work in dual channel? Im assuming no, but it never hurts to make sure. Also, if anyone knows of a place that sells pc3000, link plz! :)

The speeds will default to the lower speed RAM. It should work fine, but may have issues. Dual Channel, probably not since the two sticks have to be basically identified as the same for that to work on your mobo.

I have OCZ 512mb, PNY 512mb hynix, and PNY 512mb infeon. With a K7n8x-delta-L (I think that is the number) MSI board. The timings are set to high performance, and it registered in dual channel. It plays games really nice.
