Mic won't work on PC with MSI GTX 1050 ti?

The mic works fine on the other PCs, am thinking maybe the GPU took control over of the mic? How can I get it working?

your gpu is not going to control your mic. open sound settings and make sure it set to the correct input.

Also ensure you haven't connected it to an output, especially if you hooked it up to the rear port. I've been guilty of this myself, even after checking "to be sure" it was correct...

(They color code these things, and I still manage to mix em up.)
