I have a Asus Maximus Formula that I owned since almost 1 1/2 years. Lately, the BIOS is acting up without any reason... When I boot, it always stop by saying that I have a new CPU and that I should hit F1 to configure it or F2 to loads the defaults and resume. If I hit F2, it load defaults which is not right for me (defaults is IDE and W7 is running in AHCI) and if I hit F1 and configure it normally then saved, it will still bring back the "new CPU" message with F1/F2.

The only way for me to boot thru is to disable the "F1 on errors" option. By doing that, I'm struck with the stock settings on my Q6600 when it is able to run at 3.6 GHz without problems.

I tried reflashing with the Rampage Formula 0902 bios (It was cross-flashed for over 1 year) without fixing the issue. I could try to flash back to the original Maximus Formula bios but I doubt it will fix that issue. Does anyone have a idea how to solve this or RMA is the only option ?

If I must RMA that board, what is the right phone number for Canada ?
